Acetyl-L-Carnitine is the principal acetyl ester of L-Carnitine. L-carnitine is known for its involvement in the enzyme called mitochondrial carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1 (CPT1), which is found in our energy warehouse and can drive the oxidation of certain chemicals in the body.

The Acetyl form of Carnitine dissolves better and may have extra benefits from the acetyl component, which may be involved in various functions throughout the body.

HOW TO USE

  • Add 1-2 scoops into 250-300ml water, or favourite beverage. 
  • Can be taken any time of day, but ideally before training.
  • Product is unflavoured and will have a bitter taste.
