Overview (A Little About Me)
I have always done some sport all my life, and have been a high level competitive swimmer since 8 years of age. So, being fit and active has always been part of my life. I’m just a down to earth, loyal, family orientated and love the people who are close to me.
If I need something done - I usually do it myself!!
My “real” fulltime job is with Queensland Health, but my “fun” job is teaching group fitness classes (RPM, PUMP, Thump, BootCamp) ….AND being a personal trainer to my clients (when I’m not in competition prep) … Oh, AND do my own training on top of that!
Besides my active life, I live in Townsville (which I totally love) with my animals 3 cats, 2 dogs & 1 very spoilt and very tame cockatoo. I love running my dogs and my cockatoo keeps me very amused.
Interests
Eating Ice cream!... Pity I'm not allowed to eat it in competition prep.
Keeping fit and healthy and I think I am now addicted to Figure/Body building comps!
I love motor bike riding – I have a Suzuki GSXR1000 K2 motorbike (Shaun Giles race replica one of a kind.)
Relaxing, taking my dogs to the beach, watching movies...

Food: Ice cream
Body parts: I’m a legs girl - you can tell a "real" body builder by his legs, but love great smiles and eyes that sparkle, and a great heart.
People: Just people that make me laugh or anyone who buys me ice cream for me!!
Motivations (What Motivates Me)
Lots of different things… love seeing my body change, love pushing myself and achieving things that I really never thought I'd be able to do, other competitors, being a good role model, cycle class participants who follow and support me thought my competition process. Having support is a big thing for me.
Training History (Years, Location, Trainer)
I have trained by myself since I was 18 and always generally did weights and classes. It also was dependent upon what sport I was into – I did a bit of triathlons then got back into the gym after I had knee surgery.
I've been trained by Rosa-Maria Romero… And I loved it! She taught me so much.
Training Schedule (Training Style and Tips)
Different dependent upon my on/off season. Generally 5-6 times a week, reps change too, super sets are my fave.
Cardio Schedule
Morning cardio, some track sessions and Plyometrics – I LOVE PLYOMETRICS NOW! I’m lucky that I teach at least 3 cycle classes a week, too.
Nutrition (Examples of My Diet)
Unfortunately I can’t eat ice cream all day but I eat the usual clean diet: egg whites, oats, chicken, fish, greens, sweet potato, protein shakes.
My fave quick meal is: 1 tub cottage cheese + 1 tin sun dried tomato tuna + diced celery all mixed.
