"LOOKING FOR NEW TRAINING PARTNER, WANTED: Hardcore trainer keen to get results!
"
Overview (A Little About Me)
I am 33 years old, have traveled most of Australia and a little overseas, have been previously married to a woman who won the female Australian Title at the same time I won Novice Mr Australia (NABBA) have only competed twice and won my divisions both times. Love training and teaching others.
Interests
My 2 dogs, Spartan and Miska, motorbikes, Art and Photography, obviously weights and bodybuilding, wine, movies and FOOD!
Favourites (Food, Bodyparts, People)
Fav food? Egg salad! body parts? well i would have to say boobs! no seriously, to train, my favs would be Tri's and the body part I hate to train is strangely enough, Biceps!
Motivations (What Motivates Me)
I have a lot of self motivation, i do this because it is part of who I am, I love it and I love seeing others in good shape too.
Training History (Years, Location, Trainer)
I trained weights for about 2 years when I was younger, mostly I trained for martial arts etc but then I met Edan Davey. He got me into competing and I won! that was the worst thing i could have done, I went there for the experience and motivation, when I won, I thought, "this is too easy" and lost interest, I moved over to being a gym aerobics instructor and that included instructing for Fernwood! after a few years i left the gym all together and got out of shape in WA, then I found Brad McMillan and Tom long! a year later, after training at easily the best gym in this country, without a doubt! "Pure Fitness" in Canning Vale WA, I won Novice Mr Australia under the guidance of Brad. After that my life changed dramatically and my wife and I went separate ways. I once again found it hard to train and found that I was working most of the time, taking nearly 2 years off serious training, I have since come back and intend on competing again in 2010 with the help of Matty Simon from ASN, an old nemesis, now ally in the Iron Battle!
Training Schedule (Training Style and Tips)
I train most days but with work commitments I do miss a week her and there! My training system came from a great man who trained a lot of people and got them to a world or universe level, Brad McMillan. The idea is cell volumisation training, it's not about heavy weight but overall poundage moved. In short, more sets and more reps.
Cardio Schedule Cross trainer for an hour a day, broken up into 2 x 30 min lots, plus walking the dogs and swimming with them!
Nutrition (Examples of My Diet)
Lots of chicken, rice and green veggies! along with a solid supplement backup from ASN!
Competition History
TABBA Junior Mr Tasmania 1998
NABBA Novice Mr Australia 2006
Goals (Future Plans and Career Expectations)
Am trying to get into the police force at the moment and want to start my own gym one day!
I want to win an overall title before I finish competing, that could be state or national, I just want that BIG trophy!
Best Advice (Fitness, Health and Training)
Do it for your self! If you are in it for another reason you are doing it for the wrong reasons!
