athlete profile : Claire Battle

I have always been a very sporty person, trying my hands at everything when I was growing up. It is only in the last 2 years that I have taken up beach volleyball, it being my 1st team sport and 1st ball sport. Since then I have trained under some of the lead coaches in Australia, who have helped me progress in the sport not only physically but mentally as well. When I am not playing beach volleyball (which is not very often haha!) I enjoy running, tennis, music and just hanging out with my friends. I am currently studying accounting at QUT in Brisbane and work in an accounting firm with some additional promotional modelling on the side.
