Overview (A Little About Me)
It all started at the age of 11 when I started Taekwondo, I would love to train and spar and knew inside that this is what I wanted to do forever. Mum and dad moved alot when I was a kid and I was also a only child so training was the only thing that kept me sane.
Everytime we would move Mum would help me find another gym for me to start training at. We moved up and down the east coast and I was very lucky to train with all the people I did, learning bits and pieces from everyone.
Since i started training I have gone on to become a professional fighter, Muay Thai instructor, Boonchu gym owner, referee and fight promoter.
I had my first fight at age 14 and by the time i was 17 i had won my first Australian title follwed by a South Pacific title at age 19. In February 1996 I moved to Thailand for 4 years, fighting over 40 times and winning 2 World Titles.
Upon arriving back from Thailand i started competing regularly both nationally and internationally which helped boost my profile across the globe.
These days i live and train on the Gold Coast at Boonchu gym. We cater to group and individual classes for both serious fighting and health & fitness.
My wife, Angie and I also put our hearts into promoting amateur tornaments for local fighters who are trying to make a start in Muay Thai fighting.

Interests
Muay Thai, martial arts, boxing & MMA.
I spend most of my spare time at home with my family, and am also big fan of the internet browsing kickboxing forums and reading what’s happening around the world. When fighting overseas I also love being a tourist checking out new places.
Training History (Years, Location, Trainer)
I began training in Taekwondo at the age of 11. At the age of 16 i began training with Blair Moore who trained me for 13 fights.
In 1995 I moved to Thailand and lived in a Muay Thai camp for four years, training in Pattaya and Bangkok and in 1999 i moved back to the GC and have been training at my own Gym (Boonchu) ever since.
