"Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do! - Bruce Lee" Overview (A Little About Me)For the last 12 years I have been training in various gyms around Queensland and competing locally and overseas in Body Building competitions. I like to push myself menatally and physically to my body's ultimate limits. My achievements come from never seeing anything as a failure, taking the learning experiences that come my way and making sure that there is always room for improvement! InterestsI love training (obviously), whilst my other interests include surfing, fast cars and spending time with my new puppy. Favourites (Food, Bodyparts, People)My favourite food is seafood, followed quickly by chocolate (& lots of it!) My favourite bodypart on myself and on others is a good set of abs. Motivations (What Motivates Me)My motivation comes from achieving success! I always strive to do, and be the best in everything I take on... No matter how hard the challenge!! Training History (Years, Location, Trainer)After being in the fitness industry for many years, I've had the opportunity to train in some of the best gyms around the world, with some of the most knowldegeable and experienced people in the industry and competion field. Most recently my fiance and I Karen, had the chance to train alongside Marcus Ruhl in Germany Otta World Gym whilst competing in The Universe 2007. In Australia, I train myself and clients on the Gold Coast out of my own gym, Beach House Fitness Centre, Broadbeach. Training Schedule (Training Style and Tips)I generally train 6 days per week, with my weights always set heavy-training each body part to absolute failure. I like to take Sunday's off when im not preparing for competition. Nutrition (Examples of My Diet)My diet on and off-season is generally the same. Since winning the Australian EAS, Iron Man Magazine Body-4-Life Challenge I believe that diet is imperative for making gains in the gym. I tend to follow a low carb/low fat, high protein eating regime. Of course in the off-season I allow myself exta carbs and treats when I'm trying to add bulk.
