Overview (A Little About Me)
Susie Burrell is a specialist dietitian offering a range of consulting services to meet the needs of busy professionals and their children.
Susie draws on coaching psychology models to ensure that health and nutrition changes are self-directed and do-able and that each person's health and lifestyle goals are met long term. Nutrition coaching may be done through individual consultations, email or via the phone to ensure each person meets their targets.
Since graduating, Susie has specialized in fat loss for women, childhood obesity and sports nutrition. Susie is the specialist obesity dietitian at The Children's Hospital in Westmead.
Susie is currently the sports dietitian to a number of elite sporting teams including the St George Illawarra Drangons, Parramatta Eels, Illawarra Hawks Basketball, Sydney University Sport and Randwick Rugby Club.

* Nutrition for Athletes
A sports dietitian is able to formulate a specific dietary program for an individual athlete that takes into account the athletes sporting goals, training schedule , body composition requirements and food needs for training and competition.
* Weight Management for Adults
1 in 2 adults in Australia are overweight or obese. Fat loss is hard and usually a long term process. Quick fix weight loss program schemes and books continue to cost people who are desperate to lose weight a lot of money, but few are sustainable long term.
* Weight Management for Children and Adolescents
Good nutrition in childhood is vital to ensure good long term good and nutrition habits are developed and maintained. Susie has a wealth of paediatric nutrition experience.
Susie sees individual clients for fat loss, sports nutrition, nutrition coaching and childhood and adolescent obesity at a number of locations.

Interests
Susie splits her time between her private practice rooms in Sydney and Wollongong where she sees both women, athletes and children for fat loss and her other love, writing for both print and electronic media.
In her spare time, Susie loves to escape the rush of Sydney to run around Wollongong's beautiful beaches, spend time with her beloved Burmese cats Henry and Charlie and read anything she can get her hands on.
