Overview (A Little About Me)My name is Matthew Simon I was born and raised in Adelaide South Australia, I was always involved in many sports from AFL to Cricket. When I turned 16 my fascination for bodybuilding began, I was always chubby in my young teen years and wanted to do something about it. I first competed at 20 years of age in a junior INBA contest and came second, Nick Jones a great mentor and Mr World bodybuilder helped and guided me to the title the following year. I recently competed again in 2006 to come second in the NABBA Australia Novice division.
I began as a personal trainer and helped manage a gym in Adelaide from the age of 20 till 22, I then made the move to Queensland to peruse my dream of making it big in the supplement industry where my true passion lies. I worked as a store manager at Mermaid ASN for twelve months. I then moved onto a Sales rep role for my good mate Nick Jones for Gen-Tec who I still have a great relationship today.
In 2006 I met Simon Rees and we both had the same vision and goals to make it big, since then Simon has taken me to great strengths and now I find myself in a very important role as the national Sales manager for ASN. I feel very lucky to have a job that I love and also work with great people. I find nothing more satisfying than helping ASN customers achieve their goals and get maximum results from my training and nutritional advise. Training Schedule (Training Style and Tips)Training schedule ( training style and tips)
I dont have any special kind of training routine, I train 4-6 sessions per week always one body part at a time at high intensity and always completing working sets to failure. I dont know what I am going to train until I set foot in the gym, one day may be heavy and low reps the next day may be less heavy and more reps. One rule I always follow is high intensity never resting for more than one minute and never training for more than an hour.
If you train for over an hour you dont train hard enough
Always train high intensity
I also am personally trained In Arakan twice and a class once a week
I also like to complete at least three 45 minute brisk walk cardio sessions per week Competition HistoryTraining History

Visualize what you want and never loose focus. Supplements UsedI use these supplements religiously because they work for me, I will not promote or sell any supplement unless I or my fellow team members have tried the supplement and rated it. Here at ASN we sell supplement on merit nor marketing hype, I guinea pig everything before we sell and promote it.
I do confess I love supplements but would not have it any other way, I love training and am always looking for that extra kick to help me get to where I want to be.
