TASMANAN SECOND AT INBA BODY SCULPTING CLASSIC . . .
Media Release July 16th 08
Tasmania’s Ursula Beck continued her remarkable rise through the Australian ranks in
female body sculpting in Melbourne last Saturday.
Despite being a novice, the 26 year old from Launceston decided to step up and compete in the Open category, the Tasmanian forced to sit through a nerve wrecking time before the head judge finally cast the deciding vote, the blonde bombshell awarded second place in her first outing in the Open division. “I was stoked to get so close to winning the open section, I knew I would be up against much more experienced competitors, that’s why I decided to enter that division, to test myself, and to get within a whisker of taking it out was just great”.
There was even more reason for Beck to smile, she won the best poser/ routine award for the event, which was staged in front of a strong and vocal crowd. “The results in Melbourne certainly gave me great confidence to continue working hard and getting myself in even better shape for the Australian Open in October”.
“I am improving all the time and with a bit more fine tuning, I believe I can give the Aussie
titles a real shake later this year, I can’t wait”. ASN Sponsored Athlete, Ursula at All Female Figure Classic, VIC Championships July 2008
