From Bean Pole to Mass Attack Courtesy of ASN’s Supplement Stacks . . .

I have always been a very skinny guy, at 24 years of age I was 6”2 and only weighed 63kg! For many years I trained with weights with very limited success. Over a 5 year period I had gained 15kg, but even with this gain I was still very skinny.

I had been working in Sydney as a baking consultant for Bakers Delight, however in late 2006 I moved to Smithfield, Cairns to open my own Bakers Delight bakery with my girlfriend, who also an ex corporate employee. 6 months into starting the business, things were picking up work-wise, but physically and mentally I was at an all time low. 7 days a week working long hours, with minimal sleep and poor diet had reduced me to a 72kg weakling. I decided to hit the weights and started eating better and with muscle memory on my side I managed to get back to 80kg by end of 2007.

Still physically resembling a bean pole I sought the help of a friend, Mark Slattery at ASN Bondi in January 2008 to get me past 80kg and pack some size onto a very unimpressive frame. Being a classic hard-gainer, I figured even with the right training, diet and supplementation I would have only small gain and minimal results.

I was wrong! Mark put on the most explosive combination of supplements imaginable and I starting putting on lean muscle mass almost immediately. And I mean --- A lot of it! Along with the incredible supplement stack, he also assisted me with the nutritional side and started me on regime of careful dieting and intense weight training.

I still cannot believe my gains in just two months…. 13kg later at 93kg, I am happier, more energetic, more muscular, which stands to reason as there is much more of me to experience these things. I don’t believe I could ever have done it without the valuable advice shared with me by the Team at Australian Sports Nutrition.
