Bountiful Beauties at the 2008 All Female Classic . . .

The annual INBA All Female Classic bodybuilding competition proved a great success this year. A fun filled day with the usual controversy and joy that accompanies all competitive events. Located in a different and slightly smaller venue this year, the cozy Glen Eira Town Hall in Melbourne. The weather was freezing outside, but inside it was smokin, as 80 girls strutted their buffed, polished and bronzed bods for the panel of 9 judges and a very full auditorium of spectators.

It was great to see so many new faces on stage. This all women competition is unofficially the 'initiation competition' for many girls breaking into the bodybuilding scene. Notorious for an abundance of fantastic prizes, and INBA President and founder/promoter of the event Tony Lanciano certainly did not let any competitor down. The 'no girl goes home empty handed' slogan is still said loud and proud, as girls received their event outfits from Black & Blue, blenders, designer sunglasses, portable DVD's, coffee machines, numerous supplements donated by sponsors ASN, Ladybird, , Max's, DYMATIZE and many more.

Nick Jones MC-ing looks more and more comfortable behind the microphone each year and it was a really great treat to have Christine Envall, who was one of the loveliest and most softly spoken women I have met as a guest presenter. Lindy Olsen, looking lovely and as always a gracious ambassador of the sport kindly gave some of her precious time to be interviewed by Pocket Rocket Productions for our INBA All Female Classic Special.

Gentleman and Pro Bodybuilder Warren Clampit, Tony Lanciano, Lisa Saygun (current International title holder), Lia Halsall and bodybuilding’s dynamite duo Matt and Melita are all featured......so stay tuned.

All up though folks it was a long day for everyone but a fun day also, the overall Figure title went to Janet Kane, who looked in schmik condition and presented herself very well.

With only 12 weeks until the October competitions the race is on to get leaner, bigger and with all the fantastic supplements available with ASN, competitors have the champion edge right here. Train hard, eat clean and enjoy.
